Ricky Lau
Director

Trainer
Ricky Lau has been an airline pilot since 2004. His experience working in a multicultural environment has led him towards language training and rating and he is currently a Director at IAE. He is an approved ICAO Rater and trainer and enjoys helping his students to take the stress out of the ICAO English Examination.
Simon Broad
Senior Consultant
Simon has resided in Hong Kong since 1981 and is professionally associated with many aspects of English usage, from working for the HKSAR government examination authority, to voicing a multitude of television commercials and international and local feature films. He also heads a team of actors for developmental corporate work and recording of oral modules for students from the majority of Hong Kong universities. In his spare time, Simon is also an avid aviation enthusiast.
David Parker
Senior Consultant
Originally from the UK, Yorkshireman David is currently a pilot for a leading airline. He joined the RAF as an engineering apprentice after leaving school, where he served as a Ground Engineer for two years, subsequently becoming a Flight Engineer in the air force on the C130 Hercules and L1011 TriStar. After spending 20 years in the RAF, he obtained his commercial pilot licence and joined British Airways as a Flight Engineer, flying the L1011, DC10 and B747, before leaving to join British Mediterranean flying the A320. He left BMed in 2001, when he came to Hong Kong, and is currently flying the A320/1, B747 and A330.
David is also a qualified flying instructor with some 2800 hours of flying instruction and examining experience under his belt, with his total flying experience standing at just under 22,000 hours. He has been flying for over 43 years (first solo flight was 15the May 1973 and boasts 10 years of CRM/TEM facilitation practice.
Keith Whittaker
Senior Consultant
Keith served in the North Yorkshire Police, UK, before joining the Royal Air Force as a pilot where he served for seventeen years flying in many types and roles, from fast jets, VIP transport, photoreconnaissance to instructing on business jets. He followed this with commercial flying for companies such as Caledonian, British Mediterranean and Airbus before coming to fly for a local carrier in Hong Kong. He has a Master of Security Management degree and has recently retired from flying after amassing nearly 16,000 hours on types including A320/1, A330 and B747. He is now keen to share some of his experience.
